SB 1679
by Sen. Kyle Janek/Rep. Burt Solomons makes clear once and for all,
that a chiropractor may not perform U.I.L. physical examinations on
our student athletes. Chiropractors lack the necessary education and
training to safely perform comprehensive pre-participation physical
examinations. Don’t let another one of our student athletes walk onto
the playing field without the best possible physical examination
medicine can offer!
SB 1679
needs to be heard by the House Public Education Committee this week.
Please contact the members of the House Public Education Committee, as
well as your Representatives, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and ask them
to VOTE OUT SB 1679.
We need a vote on the House floor on this important legislation that
is now being held up in committee.
