1096
HB 1096
expands the number of APNs and PAs to whom physicians may delegate
prescriptive authority. The bill also loosens site and record review
requirements. PatientsFIRST and
the Texas Orthopaedic
Association is concerned that the lowering of quality standards
will reduce the quality of care the patient receives and will
jeopardize patient safety.

is currently in Calendars Committee. The
Calendars Committee sets the bills on the House Floor Calendar.

Committee members to NOT SET HB 1096 on a FLOOR CALENDAR.
